General
The maine coon is a very strong and muscular large cat, used to cold temperatures and a great hunter.
It is a cat that could reach the weight of 14 kg and this is why it is considered the largest cat in the feline breeds, its peculiarity and having a very muscular long body and to balance any movement it has a very long tail and thick, so much so that it is compared to a raccoon since it is a cat that lived in the forests of Maine in nature, from where it got its name.
But the main feature is in the gaze, absent and careless as if everything that happens around him is of little importance and sometimes the gaze of a great dreamer is perceived in him.
Body
long, tubular, with narrow shoulders and maintains the same proportion up to the base of the tail.
Very muscular with strong, high and very developed legs, taking a paw in his hands he should completely fill it, the feet are wide and round in shape and they rest very well on the ground and between the tufts of hair.
In full elongation we can see this cat in its full length, which including the tail could reach one meter and 20 cm and seen from the side the body shape is a very elongated rectangle.
Head
strong muscular and very well developed, it must be in excellent proportion with the structure and development of the body.
