General | The Oriental Shorthair is a long, elegant, slender cat producing a stylized extreme impression. | Points |

Shape Top of head | Wedge-shaped and long. The wedge starts at the nose and broadens on both sides in unbroken lines to the ear base. Top of head is slightly convex or almost flat viewed from the front. | 8 |
Muzzle and chin | The cheek bones are high set and narrow, the cheeks flat. The muzzle is fine, without expressed whisker pads. | 7 |
Profile | The profile is a long straight line or a slightly convex line from the top of the head to the tip of the nose | 10 |
Eyes | The eyes are almond-shaped, set wide apart and not deep. The distance between the eyes is not less than one eye width. The eyes are set at a slant, with the outer corners set clearly higher than the inner corners. | 10 |
